About us

6S Global have over 25 years’ experience in Security, Business and Data Intelligence. We are a full journey solution provider who take projects from blank paper design through to full implementation delivery.

We are an Intuitive company that Listens, challenges and thinks outside of the box. Our Approach is different, and delivery of our services is Simple, structured and Comprehensive.  We just happen to make good coffee.

In order for us to provide you with a proposal, and deal with any questions or complaints that might arise, we need to collect and process data about you. This makes the relevant 6S Global company a ‘data controller’. In this notice we use ‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘6S Global’ to refer to the organisation acting as data controller of your information.

In certain circumstances we may request and/or receive ‘sensitive personal information’ about you. For example, if it is relevant, we may need security vet you provide you and require details such as of any unspent criminal convictions you have for purposes such as preventing, detecting and investigating fraud.

Sensitive Personal Information

Additional information may be collected if a Vetting process is needed.  This information is only held for a short period of a week where data is destroyed.  No personal information is shared, just a simple pass of fail system.  You can request a phone call to discuss within the first week of Acceptance or refusal.

Information relating to criminal convictions (including offences and alleged offences and any court sentence or unspent criminal conviction).

Information we obtain as a result of checking sanctions lists.

Other information (including publicly available information) obtained as part of our due diligence checks.

How do we Collect your Information?

We collect personal information from several different sources, including:

directly from you;

publicly available sources such as internet search engines, news articles and social media sites;

other companies within the 6S Global Group;

third parties who provide us with details of individuals who have expressed an interest in hearing about our services.

What are the purposes for which your information is used?

We may use your information for a number of different purposes. For each purpose we must have a ‘legal ground’ to use your personal information in such a way.

When the information that we process is classed as ‘sensitive personal information’, we must have a specific, additional ‘legal ground’ to process such information.

For example, we need to use your personal information to provide you with a quote or to provide a Proposal and Project Plan. We will rely on this for activities such as assessing your Requirement, managing your account and providing other products to you.

If you wish to opt out of marketing, you may do so by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link that appears in all emails or telling us when we call you. Otherwise you can always contact us using the details set out in section 11 to update your contact preferences.

Please note that, even if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, we may still send you service related communications where necessary.

Retention period of your data?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the relevant purposes set out in this notice.

6S Global Limited doesn’t keep your personal data longer than is absolutely necessary to realise the goals for which these data were collected.

People with whom there has already been contact with regard to business purposes and that are already aware of our privacy policy:

The data of these contact people will be kept until an opt-out has taken place or until they have asked to be removed from the databases.

6S Global Limited keeps your personal data until 4 years after you have unsubscribed from our newsletter and other direct marketing updates. This is to map the results of our communication channels on the one hand and to improve our communication based on the market feedback on the other hand.

People with whom we would like to discuss a business opportunity and that we haven’t contacted yet. These are people that we would like to contact by phone, email, video call, LinkedIn, emails etc

These people will be kept in our database for a maximum of 60 days and will be deleted if there hasn’t been any business contact or direct marketing consent during those 60 days.

Job applicants:

The following applies to people that registered for a vacancy:

Name, email address, job area of interest and the reason for termination of the application will be kept for 3 years to keep you up-to-date on other interesting vacancies at 6S Global Limited that fall within your area of expertise.

Resumes will be kept for 1 year after the application process.

If you are under 16 years of age

If you’re under the age of 16, you may not have an account on the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our content specifically to children under 16. If we learn or have reason to suspect that you are a user who is under the age of 16, we will unfortunately have to close your account.
